Project #3

For project 3, I thought that I would take out some of my stress and frustration at all the work I have to do by making it a theme for my third project. The synopsis for my video is basically the actor in my project studying for their upcoming exams and the time seems to go by way too fast, which leads them to panic more and more until they give up and leave the scene in defeat. I though that I’d film this in the room where I filmed the define a space project with Natalie because the room is open and gives me some space to move around if necessary. The shot list I have is definitely likely to change, especially if I messed up what we were supposed to do.

Shot List:

1. Tracking shot walking into room
2. close up of time on phone
3. static of him sitting at the table writing his notes with books around him
4. close up of him getting frustrated with his work but continues to try anyway
5. close up of phone, time jump another hour
6. close up on face, looks worried and scribbles faster
7. phone check again, another hour passed
8. anxious look close up, actor gets up and paces back and forth
9. sits back at table and face plants on table
10. checks phone: going to be late for their exam
11. packs up books and runs out door: another tracking shot
